OK this is probably going to make me a bit unpopular but I am going to say it anyway…..CHRISTMAS!
The mince pies are already in the shops and you are probably in the process of stockpiling tins of Quality Streets and Roses – but won’t admit to it yet! But, if you anything like me you will be eagerly anticipating putting up the tree, wrapping gifts and cooking Christmas dinner.
However, the festive season doesn’t only bring feelings of joy and excitement, it can also bring the added pressure of finding the time to buy the ever increasing list of gifts and writing enough cards to break a postman. The latest GCA Market Report shows that in 2015 the UK public spent more on greeting cards than ever before – taking the market value up to a value of £1.7 billion, that’s a lot of cards!
Here’s a thought – why don’t you outsource some of Christmas? Take the pressure off so whilst everyone else is running around in a haze of stress you can be sitting back with a glass of mulled wine whilst smugly looking at your pile of sealed Christmas cards and wrapped gifts.
